Hankook Tires...

They flex fine. I took too much air out in Anza Borrego last year.... expected to lose the bead... and never did. I was impressed.. and still am. Good bang for your buck. We are running the 295/75R16 also.

Only problem to speak of is, i cant get one too balance properly. I have a slight wobble at about 55 mph. That may have NOTHING to do with the tire at all. I really need to swap it out to another wheel and rotate the tires to see again what i can do.

I'm glad you mentioned the balance problem. Poor balance and/or road manner is something I won't accept. Hopefully it is just that one tire (or wheel) and not indicative of the treads in general.

In the fjcruiser forum, alot of people are using these tires and they are very happy with them!

I was looking to purchase these tires for my 4Runner, however they were in back order at the time and I needed to buy tires, so I purchased the BFG Allterrain!

I am planning on installing the Toyo Mud/Hankook Mud Terrain on my Lexus on the next round, there is a big dofference in price between the two!

Hey

I have a set of the Hankook's Dynapro M/T's for about 3 month on my Suburban in the 235/85/16 size and have been very impressed with them this winter here in Kansas. They are relatively quiet, give decent ride, good on wet roads, and balance has stayed good also. They are good in mud and goo that I have found here in KS. and OK. even for a vehicle as heavy as this. How long they will last, I can't say; hopefully longer than the BFG M/T's I had on another sub. They cost me about $140ea. including mounting and balance. I like them so far and would buy them again (at least at this point in time).

Where are you getting your Hankook tires from here in SoCal? I'm looking at the Hankook ATM RF10 tires but can't find them anywhere.

Hey

Up until I sold my Suburban thanks in part to gas prices; I have had no complaints what so ever on theses Hankook's. Balance, wear, noise, all hhave been a non-issue. I like them and will buy them again.

My trapping partner loves his Hankook's. He drives 200 miles of gravel road every day with a 95 f250. The truck isent light and he dosent drive nice. so far he avrages 30k a set with only 3 flats. For comparsin his 35 bfg got 25k on avrage with 15 flats mtrs 20k we gave up on how maney flats. The only better tire we have found for lasting on the back roads is the M55 from Leschwab and it isent avable in a 35. The only thing i have notices is thay arent awsome in the mud thay will get the job done but I can walk threw stuff with my maxxis that he has had to work at but his truck out weighs mine by 2500to3000 pounds. fully loded the ford feals good on the road with 35s he did swap to 18" rims with his last set of Hankook's but that is the bling factor.

I have Hankook DynaproMT RT03 285/65/17 on my FJCruiser.

Wear? As normal tires
Balance Issues? nope
Traction in adverse conditions? Great on snow, mud, rock etc..
Increased Road Noise due to wear? Like other MT tires

I recommend them.

I have 235/85-16 on my Rover, they replaced Trxus MT. I replaced the Trxus because of two highway issues with blowouts. They are showing less wear and are much quieter then the Trxus.

Here are pictures of the last blowout with the Trxus tire. It happen at 65mph with very little lose of control. I guess Rovers are better with blowouts them Ford Explorers.

I had the Trxus m/t and I hated them. Mine never blew out though. I would not recommend a Super Swamper to anyone that drives primarily on the road. The Hankook's look like a promising tire and will consider them for my next tire.
