Has anyone seen the 2 hour Ford Commercail?

Have you seen the new Bond movie? It's a two hour commercail for Ford products. Don't they own Jag and Land Rover now? Heck even the old truck he stole has a Ford Bronco II. Aside from the Aston Martin in the beginning and the Bug in the end, every vehicle was a Ford or Ford owned product.

It did have some cool Land Rovers in it!!

They need another Sean Connery or Roger Moore. I haven't liked any of the latest bonds, and this latest one is ridiculous in my opinion.

But the facts are simple, we need the big three.

Whether we "need" a Big Three, or some other combination of auto makers is a matter of market dynamics. If they or any one of them can't survive in the current market, they should be out of business just like any other business in a free market economy, including banks and Mom & Pop stores. We don't have an over-riding "need" for any of them. Presumably, if Ford were to go out of business, the remaining auto makers would assume their market share and would be stronger for it. That's how the market works.

As for Bond, no doubt Ford contributed mightily to the funding of the film, hence all vehicles were Ford products. Money talks even in the movies. However, in light of the current issues with Ford and others claiming to be loosing their shorts, why would Ford be in a position to contribute to a mere movie to such an extent that they would lock in the brand names of all vehicles used? Or, having deemed it possible to make such a contribution to a mere movie, why would Ford now cry about their profits and need government support?

I dissagree completely, While Connery will always be my favorite (Scottish Pride at it's finest ) And I love the cheesy series that Moore reigned over, Daniel Craig is a fantastic Bond who hampered by these horible story lines/Scripts. IMO he's second only to Connery and in some ways he surpasses him. Go rent 'Layercake' It's an earyl Daniel Craig film alot like Lock Stock, and Snatch and a BRILLIANT film IMO and really shows Craigs tallents.


I really hoe they get what ever it is that's causing this writing problem out of their systems and give us some great new movies with an AWSOME leading man.
