Hello ... from Chile

Hahaha! 20lt/100km!?! :wings: ...with my Scooby (2.0lt, 150Hp, Boxer Diesel) at economic drive mode I run approximately 400km.
The yearly taxes for a 4.5lt will kill me here (by the way, I prefer only diesel) but if I'll have the chance I'll risk for a 4.5lt. How to say that...I'll be the king of kings :bowdown: (there is no one 4.5lt in Patrol comunity).
But, as I say, unfortunately, only 3.0lt is available in Europe.
Have any other ideea? :smiley_drive:

I'd advise staying away from that lump of a motor... It's really terrible and very much NOT reliable by any means.

Cheers

Dave, please be more precise...3.0lt or 4.5lt?
And please argue your advice. Thanks.

It is the first gen of the 3L Patrol diesel that was junk. It is well known as the hand grenade in Australia. But Nissan claims to have fixed it and there seems to be way less of the newer ones blowing up. You can read about it all day long @;

We have them (called "chilean Araucaria") from certain latitude to the south you'll find them all over mainly medium altitude mountains , its the typical southern Chile tree, pretty traditional tree for ancient local indian tribes (Araucanos), thanks a lot, will dig for more pics ! :sombrero:

This is the day the Patrol arrived at home, I used to still have my modified Nissan Hardbody SAS / V6 swap, etc. etc. The Patrol looked like a city SUV still ...
