Help identify this roof rack set-up, please.

I pulled next to this guy in Yellowstone and before I could ask him he was gone. Can anyone tell me who makes this rack (or one like it) and what the long thing is on the left of it? Is that an awning? And then, how the hell did he get up there? Thank you.

Hmmm,

The long item is a fishing rod holder/lockbox.

The rack almost looks like an ARB of sorts maybe.

It resembles a shorter version of a Gamaviti in a way or even a short BajaRack.

Ah, yes, fishing rods. I'm not a fisherman. Have any idea how he got up there? Also, I assume he's using all the slats that come with the rack to make it flat? I'm a photographer and could use a setup similar to this. Thank you. You sound "expert" to ME. I'll check out ARB. I've only seen their lift kits.

I don’t know what type of roof rack, but as for getting up there, I use one of these to get to my roof box easily and from this step it’s not too hard to pull up onto the roof.
