HIgh-way and Light off-road tire recommendation

I cannot say enough good things about the Toyo AT2
We have near 40k on this set, and if I wasnt worried about winter traction, would easily get 50k out of them.
As well as these have done, Im more than thrilled to step into a set of the new AT3 when its time.

Stable, predicable, dont chunk on gravel, quiet running, and made in the USA

We run loaded between 11 & 12k lbs, with about 7000lbs of that on the rear axle.
So the tires of choice are the highest load index LT tire you will find.
Load index 129, each tire being rated for 4080lbs max.

Another vote for Toyo
I've run the Open Country MT for the last few years with no complaints; dry/ rain/ snow/ highway/ fire roads/ trails...

Thanks all for advice, last week I had the Falken Wildpeak 235/85/16 tires installed with alignment and bearings packed. The tires replaced Goodyear Duratec that were great but I didn't need a tire as aggressive any more so I purchased the Wildpeaks which seemed like nice compromise between the Duratec AT's and All Season.

On first trip, almost 800 miles, I am very happy with tires, they are much quieter than the Duratec's plus ride much smoother. The Wildpeaks still have an aggressive look which goes well with rigs setup. I can now listen to podcasts on my iPad without needing to use my earpods.

In the last few years I've had Toyo AT2, Falken AT3WA, Cooper AT3 and Yokohama G015s as I'm a very road biased user.

For noise the Yokos win hands down. I'd probably rate the Falken second, Toyo third and Cooper fourth

Off road I'd say the Falkens probably won. toyo and cooper joint second and Yoko last

Can't especially comment on wear, I only kept one of the vehicles long enough to put a second set of tyres on it

Nice choice. I think you will be happy with them. In all honesty, I phoned a dozen places looking for Toyo, Cooper and Falken with Falken being the #1 choice. close 2nd was the Toyo.... and they were available in 35" so I was sold. Soooooo close to being tire brothers. lol
