Fixing stuff

That must not be from the vinyl glue like they sell at Seattle Fabrics which I used which and I think is the same as Vyna Bond glue that I used on an inflatable boat patch. I think I read somewhere that back then FWC tried using the velcro with the adhesive backing (big mistake). If the black goo is coming from around where the velcro is that might be the problem. The vinyl glue gives a clean and very durable bond.

Here is a thread covering that topic. Just if someone wanted to read it

I recently contacted Four Wheel Camper (Again) in an attempt to purchase a fold and roll couch for my Hawk. This latest contact resulted in no less than four phone calls on my part with what seemed to be "Pulling Teeth" to get any kind of assistance, including something as simple as a price on the couch. The price request alone took three calls and I spoke to humans every phone call.

I commented on this to a fellow FWC owner and he stated that he had received great service from All Terrain Campers and that I should contact them (Apparently there is a connection between FWC and ATC, as in a past employee or something) with my request.

I contacted ATC and was very pleased with the level of service, price and attitude. This is the second time I've given FWC the chance for sales and it will be the last.

My advice for you is give ATC a call and tell them whats going on and what you need. I bet they beat FWC on all levels.

This doesn't sound right to me. I'm not saying anyone is not telling the truth, of course, but it's the polar ?opposite of the experience I've been having with FWC. I'm in the middle of very ambitious rebuild and up fitting of an 88 Hawk and Terri (not sure if that is the right spelling the male use of the name) has been awesome. On top of the all the great customer service and advise and insight on how they build their units, the price on the parts I have purchase has been an absolute bargain. I can't imagine Terri not doing everything he can to help an FWC owner out. I am aware of ATC but have not spoken to them so I couldn't comment on them.

Hope things start going smoother for you.
