You might be able to get F150, F250, or F350 seats to bolt to the van seat sliders. Most F-Series seats do not have arm rests though. I have seen some arm rests on certain F-250/350 front seats, but I do not know off hand what years they came in. I think most of the E-Series front seats will swap across bases with little to no modification.

I was excited when I got the UPS emails that packages were delivered, scared when I didn't see them on the front step or inside the house, relieved when I found them on the side door, and worried upon closer inspection

Any recommendations for socal shops that have experience installing this kit? I'd like to get the kit installed sooner rather than later in order to enjoy the van before shipping it.

I don't know where you are in relation to Temecula, but ExPo member SoCalChaos had a good experience at 4WheelParts.

4WheelParts in Temecula did the rear end work, they sourced out the front end work to a local shop call Steel Nutz http://www.steelnutz.com/. It's a bit of a drive from the IE but I would trust Mike at Steel Nutz with the whole install. You'll see from his site he does a lot of custom off road work. This was their first ever kit installed but noted the kit was so well made and thought out that installation was really straightforward. Only hiccup was getting the correct pitman arm for my van.

SoCalChaos any chance your getting rid of your bench seats?

already did... FamVan Parts in Fountain Valley - Costa Mesa usually has a big selection of van parts. dumped my benches and brackets there months ago.
Picked up my rear captains chairs from them in a trade.

Being that I'm lifting the van would it make sense to get wider rims or are stock 8" rims fine? Found some 10" rims on Craigslist, American racing 16.5 by 10" wide. Any pros, cons to 16.5 x 10"wide rims?
I'm looking at getting military rims/tires

On the drive home from Irving I had to stop at wallmart and purchase a pillow to sit on because the drivers seat foam was missing. What upgrade options are out there that don't need major mods to replace the ford seats? I'll be searching the local junkyards for suitable replacements this weekend.

Look into just rebuilding the seats you have now by adding memory foam its cheaper than replacing current seats

One other thought on wheels - the 16" wheel is one of the most universally used wheels in the world. That means that 16" TIRES are available everywhere. Now I know 17's and 18's have become more popular in the last few years, but my bet is the Juan's Truck stop in Honduras would have an easier time finding you a 35" tire with a 16" hole than a 17 or 18"er.

There is pretty good access to parts in San Pedro Sula near the International airport. I'm looking for a 5th rim to have a full size spear.

Cool build! Our company is in Copán Ruinas, Honduras and we live here in Keller, Texas 30min. from Irving. I must have missed why your going there. You'll have fun I'm sure!
