How I calibrated my ARB Fridge

I don't normally leave the forum for blogs, but I'm glad I did this time. I didn't know you could tweak the reading in on the ARB, mines a couple years old, hopefully it will work.
Thanks for posting that up

Great writeup! Mine is off by 10 degrees and I put a cooler thermometer inside to confirm... now I can just calibrate it!

Thanks for the info. What is the display mode that comes up when the fridge is put into calibration mode? Mine started with A-6F
I just want to make sure its right.
Thanks

A-6F means you are already set down 6 degrees from default of A0F. Run the test I describe and find your calibration. You may be right on or you may need to adjust.

Does this re calibration stay in the memory even after it is turned off & unplugged ??? Or does it have to be done every time it is plugged back in ???

So, after raising my 82 qt by 6* in re calibration mode, this morning, the outside temp reading on cooler is fluctuating between dead on & 1* different, from the inside temp !!! Awesome.
