Extremely nice stuff for sure.

Their cheapest bumper cost more than my entire Jeep.... just sayin'. Got some good ideas though. :sombrero:

yeah, their stuff costs some money for sure. but it is all aluminum, that has to count for something. i posted it more for ideas than anything. i know how (some) people like to make stuff around here rather than by it.

Dave and staff are terrific down there in Santee. Very nice folks.

Our Sportsmobile is outfitted with some of their products(front and rear bumpers, ladder, etc). They're great quality and super light.
We are heading down in a few weeks for a couple new toys :D

Sportsmobile actually uses them as their supplier for all their conversions (you can buy straight from Aluminess as well). As many options for the van, Aluminess bumpers and accessories are one of them they offer. Our van came outfitted with the front and rear bumpers from SMB. They're great cause the weight and durability. 85 lbs is about what one of our bumpers weigh in at. When you're already talking about a 10,000 pound rig, every weight savings you can make is important. Our bumpers are 5 years old and still look new. The powder coating has not flaked, chipped or faded. The swing outs on the back are still functioning as they did on day one. They don't rattle and they swing freely. I've never heard of anyone complaining about the products they make not holding up to the rugged elements we travel in. We don't do any crazy rockcrawling so i can't express my opinion on that.. but for overland use they're products work flawlessly. One other thing i'd like to point out, is that Dave will work with you on creating options to fit your needs. If there's something you'd like on the swing out, that they don't have or something you'd like to change/added.. many times it's no problem for them to do that for you. I don't mean to sound like a commercial.. but i endorse them 100%.

thats really cool. i have a 2wd truck, so i wont be doing any rock crawling. its good to know they are trusted enough to be a supplier to Sportsmobile. ill keep them in mind when i start to look for a bumper or storage boxes.

I'm drooling over that Tacoma bumper. I can probably afford the $100 box that attaches to it.
