What's even better is the wifey isn't upset that I had to leverage the Mini to get it. I am however skeptical and waiting for the hammer to drop about the new Subaru she has been eye balling :)

Congratulations! You will love it! If you haven't already, check out the forum at B190.com--lots of helpful people there.

Looks good. Specs?
94 with 69k not real sure I have only seen it via Skype but looks solid all the RV components work, gen, stove, micro ect. Has an awning already, big plus for me. Hoping to swing into Chris place on the way home and get it spec'd for the 4" lift and conversion. Will have to wait until the house is sold to get that part done but otherwise going to bring it home and shake it down on a few local trips to see what the must do's are.

:coffeedrink:
I have to keep my coffee consumption to one cup rvight now, I am not a patient person!!! Glad I stayed positive and kept a set of the long rails to mount on the new beast. I will be back home in Colorado with her as soon as our house sells here in Florida or as I like to call it..., well let's just say it's not a place for me to live, visiting maybe, touching down on the way through to the Bahamas or SA def!!!!!

Nice, I think you will really like it. These rigs are pretty nicely equipped and can operate off the grid for quite a while. We just got a 1996 B190 with 123K miles in March and we just got back from a two week trip from East Texas to New Mexico and then back through Oklahoma and Northern Arkansas. We did a LOT of hiking with our 1 yr old son and used the B190 as our base. I was very pleased with how the van performed except the 12V power to the fridge seemed to be week (it didn't stay cool). The fridge worked great on 120V and gas though. We were able to go places that a bigger RV would not dream of like Hwy 15 between Silver City, NM and Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument (a VERY twisty mountain road) and 14 miles of rough dirt road to White Rock Mountain, Arkansas. We camped 6 nights without hookups and without issues and it's important to be independent like that. Some areas, like the Guadalupe Mountain National Forest, had a campground but no hookups. The last campground we stayed at only had extremely nasty vault toilets that had not been cleaned in a long time. Our neighbors at the campground hated it! But it was Memorial Day weekend and all of the area campgrounds were full (they checked). No issue for us though - we had a flush toilet that was clean and even a shower! :-D I am also considering converting mine to a 4X4 rig, but I'm a bit more hesitant in my case due to the high mileage (now over 127K).

That is awesome, thank you! It def seems to be the consensus on these rigs. I can't wait and I figure with 69k the 4x4 conversion is a no brainer, wish it was within my capability to do it myself but I ALWAYS end up with the "where does this go" pile :) And for the price of the van plus the conversion still coming out WAAAAY ahead of a Sportsmobile. I don't see that the conversion on your rig would make a difference at 127k, you have the 460 motor correct? My uncle who is a car nut said these engines are bullet proof.
Cheers,
Jason
