If they brought the Jimny over to the states, would you pick one up?

Looks pretty sweet. It would definitely peak my interest, depending on the pricing (esp. if the diesel option were to be available).

I saw one of these on a trip to Ireland and thought it was a cool, capable little truck. Don't know if I would pick one up since I have a truck I plan on keeping for a long time. But it is a cool little truck just like the Sami was/is when then brought it over.

If they did, I'd hope they didn't still call it the "Jimny". Sure, I've seen worse names, but "Jimny"??

You'd have to at least look - in my opinion Suzukis hold up pretty well - I delivered pizza in a Samurai in Breckenridge in the late 80's, so I can vouch for that models unstoppable-ness. Seems like the timing is right, even with the currently low gas prices the market seems to be shifting smaller.

It's not for me. Looks like a redesigned kia sportage (i'm sure more capable, but I like my SUV's boxy). Plus, I gots me some kiddies, and not a lot of room in there.

It still has the body on frame design. I'm not that keen on the styling, but it's not bad. Now, if they start making a hardtop, I'd have to change from a maybe to definite.

Maybe I would have to see how I fit first. They have been around for a long time in Europe and Japan so they have been proven capable and well made.
