I know what you mean. I got mine with a seized engine (overheated then shut down) and had an old 360 in my shed. I put the old shed 360 together with an el cheapo kit from PAW and took the other engine apart and took it to my machinist at Maurer's Performance in Tempe for a strong rebuild. I took many liberties and shortcuts with the shed engine because I knew it didn't need to last more than 6 months or so. I ended up selling the truck a couple years later. The new owner is only now putting the other rebuilt 360 in it and he bought it 3 years ago. I thought he was nuts because he came out to Flag from New Mexico and brought his 4Runner towing a car hauler to take the Wag home. He ended up putting the 4Runner on the trailer and towing all that back with the Wagoneer. It wouldn't die.
