No kidding. Not only can we not import those, our own mil spec vehicles are absurdly expensive. Look at the price of those (presumably in Canadian currency too) compared to a mil hmmwv.

Those aren't Canadian military...they're British, off the base in Suffield. Canada currently uses a mix of GM trucks and G-Wagens.

Those seem really cheap and low mileage! I've seen a few Defenders being listed on Kijiji, and they easily go for $30 - 50k.

They're cheap because they've been beaten their entire lives and they are optioned in a manner that makes them undesirable for everyday use.

That is a crazy price for an ex-MOD truck. They are starting to sell off the odd Wolf though and they make a better buy.
