Hi,
New to this forum, which I came across accidentally looking for something else. and thought I would introduce myself first in the Landy section as I am a bit of a Landyphile.
Currently own two Disco DIIs (2001 & 2004) and a 1984 Defender 90 (all V8s) and am based in Dubai, UAE.
I do frequent weekend camping trips and usually a couple of long haul trips in excess of one week in the region. I have been living in and exploring the Arabian peninsula for almost 21 years.
Attached is a photo of my 2001 Disco that I use for the majority of my trips
2" OME lift
LR Expedition Roof Rack (with chequerplate added + tie down points)
EeziAwn Awning
Mantec Snorkel
Devon 4x4 Front Bumper + Steering Guard
Warn XD9000i winch
QT Diff Guards
CDL
ARB front and rear lockers
My last long trip was down to the point where Oman meets Yemen and Saudi Arabia N19E52, some details on my website here

Looking forward to reading some good adventures here and passing on information for anyone travelling through this part of the world
Cheers
