Is the V6 the best choice in 2015 RR?

For me, being able to mount 18"s is far more important than having a motor that will sell more when I'm ready to get rid of it.

However, if I truly had that kind of money, I'd deck out a nice L322 for $20k and invest the remaining $90k for preventative maintenance, travel costs, and eventually a replacement vehicle..

Because being around them lately, you can sell one with 10k miles for more than sticker... Even old l322 supercharged trucks bring more than a non s/c.

Any sort of goofy short supply bubble will not be an issue after 2-4 years when the vehicle in question is actually up for sale. The only person willing to pay more than sticker is either a complete a fool or isn't aware of the internet yet.

The SC vehicle yes, will generally bring more, but part of that is for the "special" Sc badge as well as the actual options usually standard on a SC model. There's nothing particularly special about the HSE V8 over a V6SC. In fact, people who know nothing about the engines may even think the V6SC is better. I would think the pricing will actually end up being determined more by the availability in the market. Too many V8's will lower their resale too.

Look at the price difference now of a 2007 RR SC vs HSE V8. Not much different. The older they get, the smaller that price gap. In that case, the SC becomes the much better value due to price being so similar. I miss my 07 SC sometimes even though it was just too small and less functional inside.
