Its a dream but a good dream !

Changed the offending bracket and now it will go up and down in the folded position.

Started work on the Solar brackets.IMG_0729.JPG

Looks nice but I think you were a little overkill on the number of bolts. :) Easily half as many would still be overkill.

I need to do a better job of explaining the bolts. In a conversation with Itek it was pointed out that a truck going 50 mph and being passed by another truck (think Semi ) going the other way at 70 mph the wind speeds could be as high as 120 mph. They are not sure the panels could take that for very long. But wanted the side rails better anchored. Also a small front spoiler will be added. Trying to keep air from getting under and lifting the panel.

Two panels installed. What a pain.
Do NOT us old Sika ! My bad but I got it in April. Stored at 45 deg. +-. And it would almost not come out.( after letting come to room temp ) Then BOOM ! It is now coming out every where !
Don't forget your rubber gloves !

Maybe the next two panels will go better !

Oh, and having a roof hatch is the best ! And later it will help with keeping the panels clean .
