So got a good amount of assembly done this past few days. Had two or three real late nights and did at lot of one off things here and there.

Got the side paneling back on. Used lock tight on everything...

Then reassembled the lid. Used grey silicon along the perimeter before laying down the sheet metal. Also had to drill all new holes because I actually didn't have time to do this before powder coating. Also reinstalled the roof rack. This time I added a half inch piece of abs plastic underneath the lengths of the rails to raise the unit just enough so the solar side clears the top of the lid. Before a few bolts on the bottom of the panel were scraping.

P.S. I also replaced the original ARB fridge slide with one of the new extended versions. Should allow better access to the fridge.

Look at grommets in McMaster Carr, will be a cleaner way to protect air lines, and also keep unwanted insects from finding a home in your cross tubes.

Coming together well. How many time have you hit your knee on that rear receiver? I might have missed in in the build but was there a reason you left if that length?

Thanks - with regard to the rear receiver I've actually never hit my knee or anything else's for that matter. I built it that way because it was the easiest for me to do...If I were to do it again I'd go for a recessed version. It does provide a great step for access inside and the RTT.

Updating the post...

Taped off all the seams / joints of the composite decking with blue painters tape.

Then filled it all in with grey Geocel Pro Flex Sealant that Precision Powder recommended (see earlier threads posts).... Worked great.

Reinstalled the water pump housing unit...

Reinstalled the frontrunner water tank and hooked everything back together. All worked just like before - Phew.

Also added a rubber/foam seal around the edges of the lid and tailgate. Picked it up at McMaster a while back, so can't remember the details but it seamed to work well in keeping the rain out during our way home from Big Basin and during a rainy night...Some areas probably need to get some adjustment or refitting, but I frankly didn't have time before we left... It's on my list of final final items to true up. Sorry no pic.

Made it out on our first trip with the trailer 98% finished!!! Here are some pics. We had a blast...all four of us up in the tent worked well. Set up and take down was really reasonable considering we had a 2.5yr old and a 5 month old. Not exactly overlanding, but hey we got out!
