With the spacers on, do you have any rubbing at full compression in the back? I haven't put spacers on mine yet, but it looks like it will be very tight at the top of the wheel well.

not that ive noticed. i think under compression i still just clear.

Looks good! Do you have any other pics of how you mounted the lights?

i can get some if you need but its just a piece of aluminum angle, 2x2 iirc, bolted thru the stock bumper. one big bolt in the middle and two smaller ones in the corners to stabilize it.

Storage: Part 1.
Drawers!! i liked keeping my emeregncy stuff under the stock shelf but it wasnt full length ans wasted space. so i am building a storage system to replace them the drivers side will have one long (38") drawer and the pass side has a 24" drawer and a cubby. the short drawer will have a cutting board fitted into the top and is just the right size for my stove to sit on if i want to cook under the tail gate in bad weather. the top will get some tie downs and rhino liner and the drawer fronts will be a piece of aluminum.

here is the first part i built last weekend. basically copied the stock storeage shelp height but full length and just better.

Building a drawer

Drawer Slide. this side is a 22" slide and a 24" total length drawer. so it has a cubby behind it for fluids that dont need to be used often.

This is the Cubby behind the drawer on the passenger side.

Looks like a nice build. What bumper is that? It kinda looks a little like a Shrock.

Just a thought. Build the second drawer and mount it with the longest home depot slides. True, it won't come all the way out but you can slide less used items in the back and fill in front it that. I used 24" slides and my drawers are 30" deep. Not a problem.

its a perkins performance bumper. they are a local Washington company that recently started building bumpers for the 4th gens.

i found a few rubbermaid containers that fit in the other side of the storage great. i just have the stuff i dont use too much in that side.

can see the bumper movement here. about a 1" gap on the drivers side and tight to the fender on the PS, rear wheel just lifted. about 5/8" when level on both sides.

got some proper switches. driving, reverse and winch power .

the new puppy :)

picked up some strobe lights on craigslist. got the rear ones installed in the reverse lights, and all the wiring done except for the runs for the front bulbs. i think i will put them in the front turns.

they are really bright! this was shot when it was still pretty light out.
