JK Expedition One Rear Bumper/Jerry Cans

Gerry can vs these thin models

It seems a cool idea. However, for the price they seem expensive and I am not really hip about installing ANYTHING FLAMMABLE inside the vehicle that has leak issues. I truely suspect that leaking would certainly be curtailed or stopped entirely if these were used in a more humaine manner as in an installation on a Jeep vs an ATV. Until I can appreciate more definitive data on "leaking," I will keep my Gerry Can mounted on the front of my Offroad Trail or mount it on the tire carrier. Many companies offer these if one has no fabrication skills. Truely a neat concept.:bike_rider:

Saw these at EJS and was very impressed. They also have a water carrying version (container is white) that could be very useful as well. I can't wait to try one out on my own rig.

btw: i love the hutchinson rims...

Seems like an ingenious solution to a non-existing problem. I do not think that it has any benifit over a Spector or Jerry Can other than the "different" look factor. Just one of a million opinions.

*x2 on the Hutchinson Rims!

I think it protects the can from damage. Lots better to slide backwards into a tree and hit a big tire than a jerry can.
