They need to be in series, as mentioned, and be sure to hook up the "outside" terminals. But if you are wiring in any sort of permanent connection, it gets a little trickier and you'll need, at a minimum, a suitable battery isolator. Ignore that and the batteries will all try to equalize themselves, perhaps leaving you with three dead batteries.If I ever woke up to a dead vehicle battery, i would like to be able to jump start them off of my house AGM batteries.
Does any one know if this an issue or if i can damage my AGM's. Right now i have 2 6v batteries tethered together.
