Found a gen 2.5 on craigslist for $2800. Asked the lady if it had the orange sticker next to the gas pedal and she said yes! :wings:
This is how it looked the day after I picked it up.
Took it off-road the next 2 nights in the rain in Sunland and Cleghorn. Bald tires and all!! It's a beast! :bowdown:
The following day I got installed 33x10.5 Toyo Open country Mud Terrains. Instantly noticed how slow the car was after.
Went to Rowhler Flats the very next day. Very sketchy place in the rain.
Then took it to Calico to do some shooting and exploring. :safari-rig:
Overall I love the car. I can't quite keep up with friends in their new toyota's but it's okay. I really feel like i need to re-gear. Had trouble climbing up inclines right away compared to stock, I even feel it in the trails.
Found a Snorkel from australian ebay. I got it for $350 shipped from ebay seller kingsleycrew.
I also ordered OME expedition duty complete suspension. I plan on upgrading the bumper but ARB is so expensive and you gotta custom fit if you can't find originals. I might just go totally custom if thats the case. Any cons to that?
BTW The check engine light went on this morning and i had the code read. It was the TPS sensor. Do i just replace it or is it a loose wire?
