It was fun meeting everyone that was there, was really hopping to see a bunch of builds and ideas, but gut a lot of ideas from those that we there, Fuso, and venders. Didn't think they would let me through the course but when they said yes I jumped. Here is a little video, wanted to find clearance issues and see frame flex for mounting subframe. You guys are going to love the music.....or maybe mute it before it starts haha. I got a fair amount of scrutiny already on my build and I'm sure this video will bring more but I welcome it and realize that I am a novice at building anything like this, it's a great learning experience and I welcome any ideas or constructive criticism. Thanks

Thanks for posting the vid, its always fun to see what the FG's look like on obstacles but like skifreak said without the cabin on there you really cant tell what the frame/suspension will do, it will stiffen the frame but also the weight of the whole cabin will make the suspension actually work other than the weakest link bending first, ie. frame.

If you say you are open to some constructive criticism tho and not really criticism but maybe some observations........ I find that using 4low 1st gear and just idle up and over obstacles instead of the skinny pedal is the best way to go, these trucks will seemingly climb steep slopes at any angle with ease and at idle, if a bit of a higher RPM is needed I find that my high idle speed controller will let me add a bit extra and is speed limited but will give an extra bit .
The other thing is the rear overhang, it might be too late but that for me where we travel would just limit us to most places that we like to be able to go with the FG, with all the cross ditches and creek beds you would most certainly hang up, if those arent the places you go well disregard, but thats why we built on an FG, good departure and approach angles and there are some sacrifices to be able to get that but that was primary for us.

That is my observation and opinion and that is why I built mine my way, but your rig is for you and is the only person you need to satisfy,.... well other than your wife:)
