The dealer stated most RAM models will be $20.000 higher in price in 30days. Dealers are repricing now.

Did they say why?

I've read they cant move them off the lot and they have been steeply discounted.

I can afford $20.000 more, if it were $20,000 more, that would be a different story :) "The dealer stated most RAM models will be $20.000 higher in price in 30days"

He also said the factories will shut down and stop shipping to dealers. So dealers must make the best with current inventories.

I heard in another interview with the FORD CEO. We will return to the covid new car shortage across the USA starting in 60days.

I've been less than thrilled about having to buy last summer right before prices tanked, on account of some towing requirements I couldn't get around, but I guess the window for deals might have been rather brief.

Certainly have not regretted having the vehicle to use.

Well, there ya go. That’s just the cost of doing business these crazy days. Bird in the hand and all. You obviously made the right (albeit painful) choice.

In accounting we might call that an example of opportunity cost, basically the added value of having something you need now and being able to use it now, versus waiting to have it until later.

Ram is launching there newly updated Ram HD trucks with new engine variation and brand new 8spd transmission. My dealer stated expect a 13k increase. Given the trade war I'm not surprised to hear 20k
