Kelty CarTarp??

I don't have this one, but have several other Kelty shelters (carport, noah 12, sunshade). They are well made. The fabric is polyester, so it does not expand much when wet. Kelty tarp poles are good quality.

Beyond that, you should be able to imagine how well this will work with your vehicle, since the design is straight forward. Based on my experience with the Carport, one thing to think about is drainage of rain water. Depending on the height of your car, and the height of the poles, the area between them might be fairly flat, and drain poorly. I had to introduce a back to front slope on my Carport to get good drainage. With this one you might be able to achieve good drainage outboard, between the poles, by adjusting their spacing and guyline tension.

As with any tarp, be careful when pitching it in windy conditions. If the wind catches it in the right way, it can rip out tent pegs, and turn the tarp into a flapping sail.

Replied to this once before -but must have timed-out.

I love my car tarp. It is not for everyone, but it is so versatile and packs small. The coated polyester material is not very dark as a shade, but is tough for its weight. It is great as a rough shelter if you are sure to provide a path for run-off. I will often use one pole and tie the other end to the ground to create a wall on one side.

I got mine at a clearance, but they seem to be getting harder to find.
