Awesome Disco! It was good meeting you on sunday at amicalola. I was the one with the stock grey disco. Hopefully I'll be able to make more trips in the future!

Are you using RR1 (rear) and RR4 (Front) rovertym springs?

those are great springs, and yes, peter is using those. i have the RR4 and RR3, although i DID order the RR1 for the rear. the RR3s flex a little better, and honestly i'm been happy with them not sagging under the loads i put in.

if you're going to put a lot of weight in the rear, and want a firmer ride, go with the RR1. if you want a little more flex, slightly softer ride, and don't ened to carry a lot of weight get the RR3.

i may need spacers after i put on a rear bumper this weekend though...

Alright, last weekend I made definite headway on the drawers. I forgot to take the camera so no pics, sorry. It's going to stand just under 19" in height and weighs a TON!! I'm actually kind of worried about how heavy it is because it will stay in the truck once i finish it. I'm guessing it weighs near 100lbs. but can't be certain. What do you guys think, will there be noticeable sag? I have heavy duty rear springs from Rovertym(RR1's) but still have concerns about the amount of dead weight. Let me know what you think,

Peter

Pete! I need to see your craftiness on those drawers soon. I may be in town next weekend so I might have to come over!

Thanks for all the positive input from everybody! I am planning on finishing up the "build" part of my drawers by tomorrow sometime. I then need to paint, carpet/rubber flooring, etc etc. I'll get pics by this weekend. Until then,

Alright, Well i finished the majority of the construction with the box. I have the box itself built, one completed drawer, and one drawer in need of a face board. I have yet to start construction on the pull out table because I'm having a hard time finding the right sized hing, and a surface that will be able to deal with the heat of the stove and spills. In short, I ran out of wood and don't have time until the weekend. I spent the better part of yesterday evening sanding down the edges of everything and creating a good paintable surface. I'll post pics tonight sometime.
