We are going to use a plane grinder and take it off that way....

Good luck with the grinder. I hear its a long tedious process but since most of it isn't cured, it shouldn't be as bad.

You can't just wipe it off with some MEK or Acetone?

No.

The large portions that didn't cure just peel like latex paint. Pretty easy. The sections that did cure will have to be ground off.

not at this time. probably wont get back to it until mid december.


I'm pretty bummed about it.

But, the project continues. Will be selling the recently installed OME lift and going to extended travel remote reservoir 2.5" radflos soon. The OME rode really nicely and carried the load very well, but I've decided that I want the next level....should have just bit the bullet the first time.

So next step will be changing out the suspension units and picking some tires to upgrade from the stockers.

We should talk about that ome set up. I was going to go for the med weight set up, because I've got no plans for bumpers, but if the price is right... are you going to get new springs as well?

Fronts yes, rears no. To be honest you wouldn't want the rear HD pack if you aren't doing bumpers. It would be too stiff. I think you would be ok with the hd fronts though.
