Here are some pictures of my '08 KLR650. These images are from last year's SoundRider Trollhaugen Dual Sport Ride... This is the bike I'm hoping will get me started on my personal goal of visiting all of America's national parks on a motorcycle somtime during my life.

very nice bike william...I have the same model in an 07. I'm definitely digging the color.

What is the Trollhaugen group all about? Thats a ton of people! It looks like a great time.

I was wondering where you got that helmet at? Ive been looking for a new one for awhile now. I like the customized motorcycle helmets at this blog but I havent been able to find any like? Do you have any suggestions for good places to find them?

thanks

Mantooth,
Glad to hear that you're enjoying your KLR. To answer your questions: The image with all the bikes above, was the morning of the second day of the Trollhaugen Dual Sport Ride organized by the good folks at www.soundrider.com ( here's a link directly to a page about the ride... http://www.soundrider.com/dsport/rides/trollhaugen_dualsport.htm ). Unfortunately, the ride has been discontinued :( , but has been replaced with the Sasquatch Ride :) , which promises to be fun.
I got my helmet from Seattle Cycle Center, but that particular model is available EVERYWHERE online. It's the Shoei Hornet DS. It's been a great helmet in the year that I've had it.

Cheers,
W.
