KM2's on national Backorder??

KM2's on national Backorder?? ***33x10.5x15 size***

You know; it figures. I save and save the $$ and now I can't find these things in stock anywhere. Anyone know how long this B/O is supposed to last? Should I bother getting on a waiting list? Of course I'm looking for the even less common size of 33x10.5x15.

I live in the Denver area and travel to the Nebraska panhandle often if it matters and I'm willing to pay for shipping.

Good question. I would like to know when the 255/85s will be available again. They've been on back order for at least a couple months. I didn't know others sizes were also on back order.

I bought 35x12.5x15's about 5 weeks ago here in NorCal. Took 1.5 weeks to receive.

Must be the size issue. I just ordered a set of five 315/75/16's from 4Wheel Parts a couple of days ago. They claimed they were in stock and I would get them within 7-10 days.

Surely not all of the many sizes of KM2s are on back order, though the fairly popular (here) 255/85 has been for a while.

Their site says they have them, and the price is good, but their shipping calculator is junk as it showed $375.00 shipping for 4 to Nevada!

If I get a set it will likely be from the Tire Rack or our new Discount Tire, who will match the Tire Rack’s price and I'll continue to get balancing and flat repairs locally :)

I got a set of 33x10.5x15 last month from Online tires.com...had them in 5 days. Might check and see if they have any in stock...

I just changed the ‘cart' from 4 to 1 tire and it correctly calculated the shipping at 19.00. = 175.00 each shipped for 255/85. That's a great price, just have to pay to have them mounted/balanced locally.

My set ran $643.00 shipped FedEx to Wyoming.

That sounds better! I mounted them up myself, took 'em for a test drive, I was really surprised, they are smooth....not going to bother having them balanced.

Wow, even at speed no balance needed. What vehicle are they on?

They are on a '94 Explorer. They are smooth up to 70mph, I rarely drive over that. Trying to find a good tire shop here is tough, I refuse to do business with several shops...they rape you on the prices and their service/warranty sucks. Most shops refuse to install a bigger tire on an Explorer...find it's easier to DIY

70-MPH with no wheel weights is great!

That is too bad that they are on back order. I can tell you from personal experience they are well worth the wait. I have them on my Frontier and love them. So much so we are going to put a set on the FJ as well. I had to wait for mine as well. Then again I was ordering them before they even hit any of the tire shops here in AZ. Good luck finding some!
