How about a few pics of a recent Hunter I finished up. This one is made of differentially hardened 3/16" 1084 high carbon steel, 8 1/2" overall with a generous 3 7/8" blade which has a full flat grind and nice distal taper. The handle is comprised of Burlap from Shadetree composites, purple G-10 liners, and a g-10 guard. The tang is tapered as well. Hope you enjoy!!

Last time I worked with leather was back in the early 70s in Boy Scouts.
Had a wallet kit I had to stitch together with plastic stretchy lacing.
