Is there anyway possible to use this tent without staking it down at all. I know I’ve setup some tents that say it’s required to stake down but they will stand on their own. However if rain or wind comes in it’s probably going down. On a good day will the kodiak stand on its own without being staked.

No it has to be staked down. The poles push up from the midpoint of the short edges of the tent, so unless the corners at least are staked the tent will just fall over. You don't necessarily NEED all the stakes, depending on how windy it is and how secure the ground is. I generally put them all in if I can.
