Kudos To Jake from New Mexico Backroads

Every Miles A Memory

Expedition Leader
After browsing through the latest issue of the Overland Journal that just got to me today, I felt the need to comment on Jake Quinones work in the Lattitude section.

Over the past few years, I've been amazed by a few of the members on here who have asked a ton of questions, stating right from the begining that they were very interested in learning everything they could and not afraid to ask as many questions as possible to move up quickly.

Jake was one of those guys awhile ago who came right out and said "I'm really interested in photography and want to learn as much as possible"

To see his work graduate from what I originally thought was pretty good to begin with to what he's been posting lately has blown me away.

To see his multiple page spread gracing the smooth, rich papers of the Journal has to feel like a major milestone in his photography career.

Congratulations Jake. On our next meeting, the first round is on me!

I'm hoping some day to have some of my photos in this magazine I love so much, so it's good to know that you've now moved up from the student to the teacher :victory:
