Lake Powell -Antelope Canyon - Horseshoe Bend March 2010

great report and amazing photos....many of them are magazine quality, wall hanging worthy, sellable images.

I like that you had a relaxing schedule and took your time enjoying the area..
and I like that you didn't pack it in and run when the weather turned foul.

great report, thanks

Thanks for the kudos on the pics. I'm really focused on trying to learn the art.

I didn't run away when the weather turned ugly but I did start questioning my sanity and missing my mommy. :sombrero:

pictures are real awesome.. wow ~~~
thank you for sharing

I love how you are checking this out from Korea. It's a wonderful international community we have here.

Thanks for the compliments. Let out a yell if you get over here sometime to explore the Southwest.

Great Stuff!

The three shots from Alstrom's point are fantastic as is the last shot of Lower Antelope. Glad to see all turned out well. Wish I could have met up with you- except for the wind part. :)

Amazing Brad! Great story...and fantastic photos! I missed a good trip!

I like what Lance offered: "...and I like that you didn't pack it in and run when the weather turned foul".

The KK is such a wonderful piece of equipment to provide comfort and protection for when the weather turns foul!

Brad, thanks for sharing. Those photos are outstanding despite the fact that you chose to just get a camera instead of a Nikon ;)

Seriously though, the morning shot of Horseshoe Overlook alone has made me bookmark this thread for a future trip.

Nice job; wish I could have been there with you.

Great pics, as always. Thanks for sharing.

Honestly, it doesnt look like you missed Alstrom Point all that much. Beautiful view.

Great pics Brad:Wow1:. Looks like you had quite the exciting trip. I keep saying that one of these days we will make it up to those areas.

great pictures, but this one weirds me out. Are you really that close and teetering on the edge??

It looks worse than it was. I only sat there for the picture then moved back in front of the fire away from the edge.

But yes, the drop off there was at least 1000 ft.:sombrero:

Thanks for posting. I drove right through Page and not knowing there are so many nice places! I'll check them out next time I'm in that area.

I don't get to experiance envy much, for I have a pretty good gig going in life, but I am really jelous of that trip! :victory:
