It's been a while since the cruiser had any up grade, but here are some pics of her testing the Tough Dog suspension, they handle really well the dunes and the hard roads
the last upgrade was the Mile Marker MX9.5 winch

Love seeing your 105 brother.

I am going to see if there is a way I can find a set of those GX steel wheels. Did you paint them to make them black?

Your rig looks great!

Thanks Greenbean, yes they're painted black ... actually they are from a GX but of an 80 series that had the bolt pattern change in order to fit the 5 lugs of the 100 series, they are heavy as hell 39.7lbs each wheel

Thule roof bars for the 100/105 series

After looking around for roof bars to install the awning that has been in the garage floor for many months, a friend that is a dealer of Thule bars said he could adapt a kit in the roof of the cruiser (since Thule doesn't fabricate an specific model for the 100 series) ... and after a complete morning of looking for adapt kits ... he got it right !

after seen many awnings (smmitybilt, ironman and arb) the quality of the ARB is much better and is also the only one around here that offers the 2.5mx2.5m and fit perfectly the size of the 105 cruiser.

Just came back from the biggest off road event in Peru, Raid Duna Grande
My first time in the cruiser at the raid, the previous years had gone in the Jeep XJ ... the XJ is no match to the cruiser, the comfort. torque and power delivered by the 1FZ-FE is one of a kind, really amazed by it.

This FZJ105 as Standard doesn't even came with an LSD, so definitely no ATRAC or any kind of traction help, just old school open diff ... hope to get soon an E-Locker or a LSD at least.

An aussie locker for the rear is a low cost option for LSD, around $450 I run one and a lot of my buddies in CR run them in their FZJ80s and 105s The other option is a Keiser locker out of Brazil REALLY amazing but $1,000

well, right now I've got an oem LSD from a 100 series. Nice options, didn't know that Keiser made lockers for Land Cruisers.
Here in Peru the only vehicles that have keiser locker are Mitsubishis Montero and a couple of Suzukis Samurai.
