Made in the USA but proud to be a Toyota:

2003 Sequoia 4x4 4.7L V8

3" lift, roof pod, sleeping/storage platform, 285/70/17 Duratrac's (not pictured). 5500 lbs empty

Only had it a few months, bought it stock and slowly starting to add parts. Have probably covered 1000 kms of off-pavement travel and so far she's rock solid. We leave soon for the Yukon and Alaska for 20 days :)

I have a fabricator lined up for a winch bumper and rock sliders. That and aux lighting will be next.

Bought this truck as a beat up rusted Michigan truck. Its a 2000 Super Duty, 7.3 Power Stroke, 6 speed manual, 236,000 miles.

The unit bearing Dana 50 was toasted and 3.73 gears were not optimal, not to mention the rust it had. Decided I wanted to make it a dually (changed my mind after I got my F700) so I swapped a 1992 10.25 Sterling dually axle with 4.10 gears. Trussed it, plated the diff cover and added heavy springs (soon to change) After this I swapped a 1979 kingpin Dana 60 with 4.10 gears in the front. Added a truss and cross over steering. Added a leaf to bring it level with the front. The truck has nitrogen shocks on all corners, traction bar, hand built front bumper, headache rack, and welded tube into the rear fenders to get rid of the rust and protection for wheeling. Welded 2x4 box tube sliders along the bed side and am planning to do the same for the cab/front fenders. The motor has a basic tuner, an air intake, and an ATS ported/polish compressor housing. Plan on using this truck for wheeling/camping trips. Being it is only a single cab it will be limited to back woods camping. As time goes on it will become more and more of a wheeling rig. Which is fine by me because it beats running some gas 1 ton truck of sorts. Sure is hard to beat the power and Super Duty body style! It will need some 37s and a exo cage soon.

Crazy Excursion

Thought I'd share this rig, and see if anyone knows anything about it.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. I was driving home in the rain, and passed it. At first I thought it was just an excursion, but the popped up roof intrigued me. I got my phone ready, and when it came by, I snapped this...

Three doors on each side, a roof pop-up, and a short little bed. It also had a giant box on the front kinda reminded me of one of those boxes you see shoreline fishermen with.

Definetly looks like it's built for Expeditions!

Kind of cool, looks like a crew cab and an excursion had some sort of inbread love child. Dig the Rickson 19.5s, wish I could swing a set for my truck.

Only thing I have done lately is remove the bull bar, put on new tires and did the hi-6 mod (low beams and fog lights all stay on with the high beams) I will have the dual battery kit, factory passenger side battery tray, new plugs, wires, cold air intake, and black bear tune shortly. Then will come the lift, tires and bumpers.

Snapped a quick picture before walking into work this morning.

2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, Duramax

- 285 Duratracs
- FabFours Front Bumper with Warn 10,000 winch
- Ranch Hand Headache Rack with LED Rear Lights

Many plans for this beast just starting to put all the pieces together. Have not taken it on any trails yet besides rough country roads and going through fields.
