I bought this truck back in 95 and started building it up as money would allow. I had a bed in the back and under the bed was camp storage as well as recovery gear and spare parts. Mo and I travelled through AZ, NM, CO and Utah with this beast and had a ball. We made it a point to travel as many dirt roads as possible and stay off the interstate at all costs. It was a great trip and it really opened our eyes to what is now refered to as overland travel.
I have since bought an 06 Tacoma that I have modified some and an AT trailer. I gave the 71, Rueben, to my son to finish the build but money and family took priority and the truck never got finished. Now Rueben is back home and getting the build finished. I don't see doing a lot to it since the Tacoma is my main traveller but I am going to finish it up as a expedition full size never the less. The shell is high but I really like it because I can sit up on the bed with plenty of headroom. It is going to be a lot of fun.

Here is my 1991 Fullsize Blazer 4" lift with 33" Super Swampers. Perfect height right now. Added Bumpers and rack, no winch yet. Want to eventually add storage in back and a tire swingout. I have been getting some good ideas.
