Ok at the expense of sounding a bit out there. This Beast is built off a Ford Superduty Chassis. This one is the one they showed in Fast 5 but they make one off a F550 chassis with a PSD in it. This "civilian" sized rig is a V10.... Expo ready??? LOL

Yeah I loved my Tonka Trucks. My favorite was my dump truck. I was a kid when they were mostly metal too so they lasted pretty good. I also had a few from the late 40's and 50's that were my dads when he was a kid. Had them out in the shop on the property I grew up on which was vacant at the time and some one stole them. They took all the old ones and left the newer stuff, even though I was a grown man I was still pretty upset. It still makes me mad to think about it. I think I was about 12 when I stopped playing with them, my dad taught me how to run a CAT when I was that age.:victory:

Mine were all metal also. I hate all this new plastic garbage they sell now a days with a Tonka sticker on it.

I'd be upset too. I'll usually stop and pick up some good ones at garage sales every now and again too.

The only 2 originals I still have from when I was a kid is my T-9 dozer and a front end loader.

I think my favorite was either the Motor grader or the T-9 Dozer.

OH yeah Tonka Tough

So does it stink in there or something?

I'm a lot younger than you guys, and most all of my Tonka's are 90% metal. And I have a lot. At least I think I do.

The A/C can some times get a little mildew smell to it. Also after about 4 hard boiled eggs and some beans at lunch it can get kinda ripe in there too.

I figure If I'm gonna spend 11 hours a day in there I might as well make it look and smell nice in there, The mechanics also appreciate it A LOT.
