I did trim the body and flare, probably cut 5" off.NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did you trim the rear quarters or just build around them? Always wanted to build a Expedition.... Had a 97 F150 that was the best truck I ever had...….although my 03 suburban is in a close second.
I'm planning on doing the same to my suburban as soon as I pick up some steel.I did trim the body and flare, probably cut 5" off.
Time to install some gullwing doors.
That looks good! I loved my parents old expedition, it was a good vehicle
That thing could be incredible with a modern drivetrain! Cummins and a 5-speed?Decided to bring this 1977 Dodge M886 home, clean it up and try to make something useful and fun out of it! Got it running and driving with minimal work - but water is getting into the oil. Long term project for sure.
Heck yea if I keep it long enough, that would be great down the line! - I don't have a ton of money at the moment, so would like to just get it in good running order as cheap as I can, and especially fix the roof because it's leaking. That thing could be incredible with a modern drivetrain!
