It would also be nice if they shrank them back down to a normal size, but I don't have much hope for that happening. My buddy has a 2016 Sierra 2500 and it is simultaneously larger on the outside and smaller on the inside than my Power Wagon...

Yessir. The old ones are veritable Tardis compared to the new ones. Granted my cab is cavernous - I cant reach from driver's door to passenger door to grab something off the other floor or wedged between the seat and door. But yet, seemingly less elbow room on account of thick door cards, (happily) plush seating, and bolstered center console rests, convoluted dashboards (looking at last gen Tahoe) and such. I DO love my K2 Sierra, though. Nicest truck ove ever owned, so. I'm a bit of a dichotomy

Ok, first time I’ve seen that……excellent lol. Now that’s how you demonstrate the multi functions of your slide out. Best job in the world….mom/dad. Enjoy every dirty diaper changing moment as they go by as fast as the wind. Before you know it you’ll be picking out your new offroading adventure while they’re picking out a college. Goes by tooooo damn fast lol. Best of luck with your tiny adventure.

It was a gorgeous day; nice strong wind coming off the ocean (that almost ripped my awning off 😅), and the sand was packed hard enough that I didn't even need to air down and probably could've handled some decent speed.

Slowly working on my 2001 F150. Nothing fancy just a rig to haul me and sometimes my KLR to where i wanna go. I have a topper (waiting to paint) and got a bumper hitch bike hauler as well. May do a little weekend camping. We'll see

Thanks! It's pretty cozy and relatively quick to put together. Next part of the dream will be some drawers/sleeping platform/pull out kitchen in the bed, but those'll happen later.
