Finally got the F150 out. Went to Big Bend for the night and drove the Old Ore Road. Now to start deciding what I want to do to make the bed more camping friendly while still being useful for hauling stuff around.

Here's the start of my rig. 2003 duramax, fully loaded. Picked up the shell about a month ago and added the roof vent. Have some Cooper STT's coming next month and am currently building the roof rack. Truck functions as my dailydriver, family rig, hunting rig, and dog equipment rig.

And last but not least, one of my dad's and my trucks:

His is a 2000 halfy with absolutely every option other than a sun roof and nothing done to it. As you can see, it's his plow rig. Definitely nice to plow with heated seats, lol.

Mike, I've been thinking about those Gear Vendor Transmissions and haven't been able to find any reviews other than what is on their website.

Got any real world advice for some of us on the forum? I'd love to know if they're worth it

My brother had one on his Ford (F350-5.9Cummins-C6 auto) and it worked pretty slick. So far I haven't heard anything bad about them other than price. I don't drive my Ford nearly enough to justify the cost however there might be a payoff for those that do. A lot of members over at Oilburners that have them and I figured you're not a member so I searched "gearvendor" and this is what came up: http://oilburners.net/forums/search.php?searchid=647689
