Hey Gang,
Summer semester starts this Saturday, and I know there have been a LOT of folks asking about Lightroom.
I am teaching two classes of Lightroom this semester, and it is aimed towards photography majors. We will cover everything from basic to advanced camera operation, blogging, color theory, composition, stitching, b&w conversions, story-telling, photo essays, portraiture, landscape and all kinds of other random crap.
This class replaces the basic photography class that has traditionally been taught in the darkroom. Heavy emphasis will be placed on understanding exposure and controlling the camera. There will also be emphasis on color management, output and printing.
If anyone is interested I can post the link to the blog I will be using for assignments, additional lecture material and it will also have links to all of the students participating in the class.
One of the classes has 18 students, the other has 20.
This is your chance to play along and get some second-hand instruction on Lightroom.
The text for the class will be The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3 Book for Digital Photographers by Scott Kelby.
Of course you don't need to get the book, but it would be smart if you plan to use Lightroom for much of anything.
If there is interest I'll post the links. If there isn't, well, I'll delete the thread.
