Limb risers without tabs or a rack?

Limb risers .... et all... some thoughts.......
Hmmmm...... how did anybody explore, wheel, whatever, oh! and learn before the Internet? Why is it that so much hostility (for lack of a better word) when this one does not agree with that one on a subject. I like to think that we are a group of like minded folks that enjoy and respect the wild places we can go visit with trucks we equip to enable us to do so. After saying this lot's of ideas, some probably good some maybe not so good, as they say YMMV, however what one choses to equip his/her truck with is there choice is it not? If one uses common sense and is responsible towards themselves, others and the land, what matter does it make, limb risers (sheathed cable or not), jacks, winches, its your choice. As long as responsibility is present, do what you will, equip how you want, etc. but I think when it gets out of hand and people get to saying (or implying ) "Gospel Truths" so to say we lessen ourselves as what I think is a unique group of people, Just imagine if someone who has no knowledge of our Hobby/lifestyle would think if they read all of this banter I just read on these posts, and then find that we use our trucks to drive on other than "paved" roads, oh my, the horror! I Overland for many of the same core reasons as all on this forum, it takes energy and can be a challenge in very many ways. I (we) should not waste time and energy on some of (IMHO ) trivial and small things, I hope that I have not offended any one it is not my intention to, if I have I am sorry..... just some thoughts... stay safe mjmcdowell
