35s can be done on a YJ fairly short, even SOA
(hope that shows up).
This is the comp YJ I used to wrench on. Its running 2" lift BDS springs with a few layers removed in the rear to get it to flex better. Its on 36s and still sits pretty low, and as you can see from the pic is still fairly stable (granted no RTT
).
For street SOA Jeeps on 35s I've had the best luck with the RE 1.5" lift springs. Once they wear in they are a very good height. They are also milwrap and setup for SOA so they tend to last a good long while.
The MORE or nth (if you can still get it) traction bars are definately worth it. The trick with the MORE and a YJ is finding a good place to mount it. A stock YJ skid tends to be real thing and after a while they tear off.
