Does anybody know what the product is that is inside the PETT toilet bag that turns liquid into the solid ? or another product that does the exact same thing ? . I bought a PETT system and really like it but was looking at the bag setup versus the cost of buying the bags and am looking into making my own bags. ie; kitchen trash bag for the large bag w/ the absorbing material inside that, then put inside a large ziplock freezer bag. versus buying and finding their bags. Thanks in advance....Thomas

I use Double Doodie Bags from Walmart.
Fast, dirty, & cheap is my motto....

I think the crystals are kryptonite.

Kitty litter is similar; like the Apollo missions were similar to the Space Shuttle.
The crystals virtually eliminate all trace of potty.

Just make sure you use a heavy duty bag, with a really good seal on it.

I know what you mean :yikes: The first bag has the same mil thickness as a kitchen trash bag and a ziploc double zipper freezer bag has the mil as the the ones supplied by PETT..... Thanks again...Thomas
