Think of the other things that influenced the purchase, Gabe.
LG has a dealer that's 15 minutes from my office; I don't live on the Left Coast where there's a trailer shop every 10 miles. I can't get to Adventure Trailers and back in a weekend.
They had a relatively good reputation, seemed excited to do the build, had a fair price, and were accessible. Seemed like a decent resume at the time.

Again, 20/20 hindsight.

You mean Labor day weekend? Gonna be hot and crowded man... few more weeks, and we will get out there. Id be glad to help with the trailer though, just let me know. Hell, drag it to my house on Friday and we will do it then...

Where you gonna go? off the grid or what?
Depends on who else enlists. And how lucky I feel. And the weather report...
FS-58 has the best riverside spots but might fill up early, like Thursday. Jones Creek and Cooper Creek, the same thing. And Lake Conasauga doesn't do reservations.
If it's cool enough, the Army Corps location would be neat; just sit on the lakeside and sip beer... ...I didn't check to see if there are openings. Some of the sites there are left for first-come and you can't reserve them.
And the spot by the Ranger Base might be open; it's big and on a good-sized stream.

I searched all of the reservable places and they're all full. If the weather looks cool enough, I guess we'll try boondocking after work on Friday and trust to luck.
I know about 40 places to look...

I feel bad for you and hope you can still enjoy the trailer. I know it doesn't help with all the other crap that life throws your direction.

Patience of a saint.

Things happen on initial builds that will need fixing, that's understandable and to be expected. Great that they were going to rectify the issues. But to then do a half assed job fixing them is just plain incompetence and terrible form by them. How a business could let it out of the shop to a customer like that is unbelievable.

Let's hope that this finally gets sorted

Got it back last night from the local shop. In a word, nice.

Everything works. I need to consult with Martyn/Mario/Rou on where I want to proceed with it though. Can't leave well enough alone now, can I?

Stump ----- we might head to the lake tomorrow after work if the storm isn't spreading feeder-bands over us. Call me if you want to sit by the water and drink beer or something.

'Want to' and 'able to' are two different things unfortunately... I will likely be a prisoner of Decatur GA all weekend.

Where ya going?

I just want to sit in my lounge chair and veg a bit.
Mirtes wants to go to Natootely Creek (fs-58). I don't really care where.
I'd rather just go to the Army Corps area; it's only a half hour from home...

Camping just Saturday night?

Give me a spot/link on a google map.... I cant remember where that is.

Ill get with Meg, she and the kid might be up for a quick trip. Might have to bring the pups too, which would make it more difficult for us to get out... not much space for a kid, stroller, two adults _ AND two 90 pound dogs in a cherokee.

We'll take off after work tomorrow.

FS-58 runs off Doublehead Gap Rd, right by the old church. It's the road along the biggest stream up there, best fun for the dogs.
Around HERE, more or less.

There are 8 or so sites on the right side as you make your way toward fs-42 and Winding Stair. The first couple are trailer-friendly but not all of them.
It will be sheer luck to find the one(s) open that I want.
Any way you could caravan up with us at 5:00 or so? You're still off on Friday, aren't you?

As for packing Stumpette and the hounds, you can put the dogs in my truck at my house. :) Jessi will be in heaven.

We may be able to just run up that way Saturday morning and stay that night. I will let you know as soon as I get a reply from her.

Got it mostly packed last night; smells of some new adhesive...

But everything fits in nicer now. It's slow at work; wonder if I can evaporate early...

CJLewis just pinged me; maybe they're coming along too.
