Chris is a stand-up guy and we had a great TC.
My 6'x10' Silver Shadow is officially under construction. The "Hilldweller Edition", if you will.
And it will be sweet.

It will be borderline RV; but I don't care. I'll be out so often... ...teardrop on steroids. Dang.

King bed
full gally (sink, fridge, stove)
awning
tent on the side when wanted
tool box up front
cabinets at both ends inside
under-bed storage for nearly the entire length of the bed
two Optima D31M batteries with charger/isolator
wired for solar but none yet
burgandy color close to Jeep's color
wheels and tires to match Jeep (5 on 5 hubs, 33" tires)
etc

True King.

Chris said that he might make this part of his line-up. I think the trailer will really rock.
It's the cross-over between a crawler build and a Dennis-the-Menace RV. My aging and decrepit body is thanking me already.

Everything sounds fantastic, except the burgundy color maybe :p. I hope Chris will send you progress pics of the build that you can post here.

So when will you get it?

That is, when will the build be completed?

I too am 6'5, I have considered the tear drop concept, but I just do not think it fits me. Part of it is the fact of being so close to the ground, getting in and out seems like it could be a chore.

Are you going to bring it to the Expo?

Chris said 4 weeks; I'm assuming from Monday.
I went to 4WheelParts and ordered my ARB fridge & accessories, wheels, & tires; they're being shipped to the Little Guy factory in Ohio (thanks, Dustin).
I'll order the batteries from our corporate contact and have them shipped directly there too (thanks, Optima).
And I'll call Martyn and/or Mario on Monday too and order the awning and Max Coupler.
As long as nothing is back-ordered, I'm rolling before the end of March.

:wings:

They're not all that close to the ground ---- not the "Hilldweller Edition" anyhow. It will be sitting on 33s.
Even the Little Guy stock Rough Rider tires/wheels have the trailer sitting at a decent height for sitting and taking off your shoes. I thought the same thing as you until I went and crawled around in few. Just shut your eyes and it feels like a hotel room; they're really really sweet.
Mine will be lined in birch...

Sounds you were quite on a shopping spree today :D. What rims and tires did you go with? (Pics please) Will that trailer be a one time Hilldweller edition or will Chris be adding a Little Giant to the Little Guys?

I got the same wheels as the Jeep but with ProComp Xtreme ATs for tires.

Little Guy is planning to do more custom builds. Anybody that likes what I've done can shorten the order process by asking for the Hilldweller package.

Really? Why not the same tires as the Heep has? One spare, interchangeability and all that... what say you?

Interested in selling your Edgestar out of the old trailer??

Im jealous of your new purchase... I will certainly be checking it out when it gets here. Sure wish Chad and his crew would post some pictures to show where they actually are as far as production, thats a nice trailer (design?)too...

See ya in the AM
