Really? Why not the same tires as the Heep has? One spare, interchangeability and all that... what say you?

~ Stump
The ProComps are made by Cooper and are the same size; I can still use the Jeep tire as a spare.
4Wheelparts can't get Coopers though ----- and the ATs will have slightly less rolling resistance than the more aggressive STTs.

And less side/off camber traction than the STT on those good ole slick Georgia clay mountain roads...

Thats a big trailer to drag that small Jeep over the side of the mountain. :Wow1:

Im just saying... There are no less than a few hundred tire places, that sell coopers, and would drop ship direct to him.

Sell me the Edgestar?

Fridge?

Why not keep the Edgestar? Why did you go to the ARB?
I am loving the TD idea.
Just curious

Size, dimensions, the way the lid opens, availability of the cover and slide, and lower power draw.
The Edgestar is being sold with the old trailer anyhow since it's fitted to it.

Chris says to expect the trailer on March 14 or 15 ---- as long as all the parts I ordered arrive on time.

I'm thinking of putting 4 of these in the underbed storage down by our feet. It's already going to have 5 gallons of water in the sink reservoir and we have a couple of Jerry-cans that we carry.

Can't wait to see your trailer. Did Chris send you any build pics you can share?

Love the Rotopax! Something the really makes sense.

No build pics yet; they haven't started it.

No Coopers; the ProComps were ordered last week. Xtreme ATs are halfway between an ordinary AT and a mud. I'm not afraid of the trailer sliding sideways.
4WP is mounting/balancing on the wheels prior to shipping for free.

And the Edgestar is residing in the recently sold trailer and is in TN by now on it's journey to Dallas.

Bill, congrats on selling the trailer. I know you guys enjoyed it and hope you will have even better times in the new one. I can't wait to check it out - could be tempting, for sure.

I know you will be waiting the next couple of weeks to get back to camping ...

Just got an email; the fridge, tires, and Max Coupler have arrived at the factory.
Just need my batteries and awning ---- and the trailer...

I feel like I'm 5 years old and waiting for Santa Claus.

Is he gonna send a few pics as they get it started or?

I hope so.

He was down in GA again and I was emailing him last night as he drove back to Ohio. The shop was closed for a few days last week due to snow and they were playing catch-up this week.
I should hear more today.

Any word on the price of this? I am guessing you can tell us if there is a "hilldweller" package.
I'm supplying many of the parts myself; a final build price would be something that would depend on options that the customer would select.
For this market, he's very reasonable. And he's come up with a way to meet every request so far.
Give Chris a call or shoot him an email for pricing; I don't want to get it wrong...

Looks like delivery is 3/21, btw. :wings:

WOW, your trailer turned out very nice. Matches your Jeep color and wheels really good. The trailer looks to have great clearance too. Looks Great!

Congrats, hope to camp with you guys in the future.
