Lock n Roll at higher speeds?

Any concerns with using this system full time? Does anyone switch to a ball hitch for freeway/highway use? Would there be an advantage to that or just a pain to switch?

Not one problem!.....Great all around system!

The Lock N' Roll stays on from when i leave my driveway to i return!

In theory a ball coupler will have more friction, so it would be better at damping motion. In reality I doubt it makes any difference at all.
Sub-ing to see what those with experience have to say.

Always on. It's nice, so in case we flop the trailer doing high speed turns we can just keep driving, dragging the trailer making sparks and not lose any time on our route

My first trip with the Lock-n-Roll system was from Tucson to Vancouver, WA by way of Prescott.

1580 miles of freeway with no complaints at all.

The LnR system works great!!! When used with silent hitch pins, you don't even know you have a trailer behind you. Had it up to 80mph a couple times during passing and no problems.

Outside of the cost to get into the system, I would put it on any trailer I own. For now it's only on the Kamparoo.

While I am all for supporting our great forums sponsors, and Martyn has been a personal help to me on many fronts already without any personal interest involved, I have to respectfully disagree only with the point that

they are not set up for purchasing easily.

We needed a part number other than the ones that AT carries and called direct and found the guys there some of the nicest I have dealt with in any customer service atmosphere I have ever experienced. Really sweet gentlemen.

Sure, I didn't say they weren't sweet and nice - only that Lock N Roll are not really set up as a retailer. They do not accept credit cards and have no online store. (as of last year when I ordered)

On one occasion, I had called to have a unit replaced and had to follow up with another call to actually get it to me. Second time one unit had the wrong metal locking part on it, this also took a bit to get it resolved.

More than a forum sponsor, AT is a value added retailer of Lock N Roll.

Hope that clears up my comments.
