Im seriously looking at the future of my 07FG
its not quite the whole walk in camper thing but has all the facilities (power, water, air etc)
we used it to drag our van round aus for a few years and it served well as a camper in remote areas
now it sits in the driveway and just tows the boat
if your interested id be happy to discuss

Hi Stu, I've often admired your wheels when seeing posts from you on this site, 'noice'. We really need something with accomodation as we would like to spend extended periods away from home, so we would need to have a body built for yours to suit. Don't know if I have the patience after having a conopy built for a new D-Max a couple of years ago, very tedious!!!
Funnily enough we came from the Rockingham area before moving to Tas 3 years ago, lived in Safety Bay and Warnbro for 40 years!!! If you want to put some details on this thread of your Canter as a for sale thats's fine with me,somebody reading this thread may be interested. Cheers, Adriane.

Hi John, we live a half hour South of Kingston so getting there is no problem ( we pretty much drive through Kingston to get anywhere) I'd be interested to get in this guys ear and have yarn. Also be interested to get the heads up on the one you are having a break in do you know what year it is and the Kms travelled?
Thanks for your help and if you could member message me with the contact details for the Kingston chap I can call to see if a convenient time can be arranged to see what he has built. Cheers, Kanga. ( Adriane )

Hi Adriane,
.
Yep no worries. I'll just give him a heads up before passing on his number. Actually he's just south of Kingston.....a place called Fossil Bay. Anyway give me a day or so to track him down. There's a couple of good Fuso campers based in Tassie.
.
I'll post details about that other camper in two weeks.......all I can tell you at the moment is that it's a FG84 single cab (on single wheels and modded suspension) with a bus body (2150mm wide) that's been converted to a basic motorhome.
.
Definitely check out Shannons camper if he's offering.

Stu.....so much bling. I had to put my sunnies on just to look at that post.

Hi John - the Fg84 with bus body is an option I am also looking at so will wait with baited breath for your post in two weeks to give me some ideas if going down this route and sounds like some of the work already done
cheers
