LR3 light mount ideas (opinions)

Looking to mount Hellas on the LR3. I mocked up a model with pvc and aluminum. I will take the final design to to a welder for replication (the real one) looking at 3 options:

1. Simple mount to the front support behind the grill. Only the lights would show.

2. Add a 1" bar in front horizontal with the bumper.

3. Add a full light cage around the lights.

Pics of the mock ups and options below.

Option 1.

What if you cut holes in the grill piece itself and mounted them kind of countersunk into the grill? Kinda similar to a RRC? If you were concerned about resale, you could pickup an ebay grill for <$100 to do it. Looks like

Really I think that if you could somehow utilise LED light bars, design #3 would be superior in all aspects.

Vote for #1...but here's my favorite light integration

^^^ Yeah, that is what I was talking about. With those two big lights Garner has, I would look great to recess them into the grill like this. Maybe keep the center piece and somehow mount it back in place instead of removing it entirely like in the photo.

Pvc was only a moc up to get ideas for a metal welded rack, reconsidering something like this.
