you should take the arnott springs. to the scrap yard ...had those on mine before the lift ..when I took them off they all had metal showing in between the coil where they had been fully compressing ..went wheeling one weekend and my ABS lines on the front got cut completely in half ...

I'd like to know how you're going to fit 33's with 1 inch lift.

It all depends on how you measure it... according to Justin, he has a 5 inch lift and he sits around 22 inches. According to you, that would be a 1.5 inch lift and he fits 32s just fine. I will most likely stick with 32s anyway as I don't see myself trimming sheet metal any time soon.

That sound mighty tall
im 2in lower then you

I put the RTEs on the rear and that actually raised up the front as well. Now she sits from wheel center to lip in the front at 21.75 and just under 21.5 in the rear. The RTE springs are basically equivalent to OME 751 in front and 762 in the rear. RTEs are 385mm and 225lbs front and 410mm and 320lbs in rear.

I may be picking up some used RTE 3s which should give me an extra inch.

Mine sits at 23" front and rear and depending on the terrain, I have a little bit of scrapage going on. But my tires certainly are not 33" more like 31" I think. They are 265/75/16

Just checking up on the thread today - thought I'd throw it out there that I have a pair of OME751's sitting here in the box (so lightly used they still have the tags on the spring). Put 500 miles on them before swapping out for heavier ones. If anyone wants em for cheap let me know.

Project update : MUD in all the wrong places

Prepping for the next event we went through the truck a little bit and upon opening the air box we found this.

The airbox draws air from inside the front fender. But obviously that is not enough to protect it from the goop we are sticking the truck in.

We took the snorkel type section off the air box that connected it to the fender. The Air intake will now draw fresh air from inside the engine bay. To help protect the air box from dirt we covered the hole in the fender with this extra piece of plastic we found laying around.

When is the snorkel coming? The new range rove has the intake coming from above the fender but under the bonnet. It has a wading depth on 35 inches.

I am eager to install the TW driveshaft I bought from you. Thanks!
